I chose to study my first few years of higher education at Fullerton College, because of its reputation as being one of the oldest and best community colleges in California. My Grandfather studied there, and I felt Fullerton College would be a great place to get my general education requirements completed before transferring to the University of Southern California. While attending FC, I completed my AA degree in Liberal Studies, and a Recording/Production Certificate.
I was heavily involved in the recording arts program at FC, and was a Student Senate Member, Black Student Union Member, EOPS student, and Nominee of the Man of Distinction Award in 2008.
While attending FC, I made many friends and had the honor of meeting many influential people who have changed my life. Robert Jenson, Dean of the Fine Arts program, is someone who made a strong impression on my Grandfather, and became someone I highly look up to. He was gracious enough to write my twin brother (Brandon Forrest) and I a recommendation letter that lead to both of us being accepted to the University of Southern California.
I recommend new FC students take advantage of the many resources offered through the school. College is such a short period of time in ones life, and the most memorable experience. I encourage FC students to enjoy each day they're in school, and strive to learn from those around them in order to open as many career doors as possible.
Currently I'm a CA Realtor in Orange County (Silver Platter Realty, Inc.), and co-owner of the music production company "B&B Creative Music". I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California, an AA degree and Recording/Production Certificate from Fullerton College.
