ERIC RUSSO

Fullerton College alumnus and 2010 Man of Distinction, Eric Russo, has been employed by SpaceX since 2012. Russo transferred from Fullerton to UCLA and earned his Bachelor's degree in 2012. On March 1, 2013 SpaceX launched a Commercial Resupply (CRS) vehicle to the International Space Station. Russo was part of the team working on the vehicle, named Dragon. Dragon is the only cargo craft capable of returning a significant amount of supplies from station to Earth, including experiments.

SpaceX designs, manufactures, and launches the world's most advanced rockets and spacecraft. The company was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk to revolutionize space transportation, with the ultimate goal of enabling people to live on other planets. Today, SpaceX is advancing the boundaries of space technology through its Falcon launch vehicles and Dragon spacecraft.
