During your time at Fullerton College, who were people you had friendships with, were inspired by, or in some way made a difference in your time here, and why?

Wife- Lynda Krinke, Todd Glenn, Robert Jensen, Terry Blackley and the current theatre faculty are constant inspiration to me. Marilyn Magness (world-wide Director of Disney Entertainment) former student- continues to blaze throughout the industry.

What were some of the most significant events that took place during your time at the college?

The air conditioner technician provided a comfortable theatre for an audience (note: didn’t say “on a regular basis”) The untimely death of student - Bronwyn Dodson – and the recognition of a single life on a decade in our department

I inadvertently forgot to inform then college President Michael Vierra that at the conclusion of the 85th street celebration that we were going to explode day time pyrotechnics behind him – I think the female Mayor jumped into his arms.

All three Fine Art Deans encouraged me to direct in numerous outside theatres. I could thereby invite current Fullerton College students to join me in the professional theatre world. Also enjoyed the lack of “censorship” by all of the Deans and Presidents. My first two productions included Hair and Equus.

Legends: The Legacy of Fullerton College Theatre Arts Department was the event that summarized my tenure at Fullerton College.
